Why choose us?
We have solutions for all case scenarios, so feel free to contact us and we will come up with the best solution for your need. We provide you with all information regarding process, chemicals used, SWMS, MSDS and mode of action. We use a highly specialised scientific process called the Two-Way disinfecting system with approved chemicals. When most cleaning companies say that they use a highly specialised products or combine detergent they don’t even know or understand what their active ingredients are, their mode of action and how if they combine two or three products they might interact with each other and would be ineffective ultimately. Spray and wiping with an ineffective chemical or combination of chemicals can act as a carrier of the contaminants if the same cloth is used for wiping more than one surface which is usually the case. We have successfully overcome this challenge with the Two-Way disinfecting system, so don’t waste your money on a system that fails which poses a risk on your safety and lose your money and effort on COVID-19 controls. Contact us today and we will be happy to provide you with all the required information and best offer for you to get your disinfecting services.

Why is it important to disinfect surfaces?

The virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is stable for several hours to days in aerosols and on surfaces, according to a new study from America’s National Institutes of Health, CDC, UCLA and Princeton University scientists in The New England Journal of Medicine. The scientists found that severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was detectable in aerosols for up to three hours, up to four hours on copper, up to 24 hours on cardboard and up to two to three days on plastic and stainless steel. The results provide key information about the stability of SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19 disease, and suggests that people may acquire the virus through the air and after touching contaminated objects. The study information was widely shared during the past two weeks after the researchers placed the contents on a preprint server to quickly share their data with colleagues.

Having understood that the virus can survive on most of the hard surfaces for a considerable amount of time, it is vital that all hard surfaces should be properly disinfected to avoid disease spread through surfaces even though there is no directly infected person involved.

Why is the NK Two-Way system better than all other methods?

With our Two-Way disinfecting system, you can have peace of mind by knowing that your business, vehicle or home is properly taken care of. It is pretty simple to understand how this system works and why this system works over other disinfecting practices. Two chemicals highly active against attacking microbes are used in two separate runs.  One chemical is a high concentration alcohol which had been proved the most successful reagent to destroy the new Coronavirus. The other is composed of either hydrogen peroxide or sodium hypochlorite which is used according to the surface applied and whether the service area is enclosed or not. Every bit of surface gets two chemical runs which are highly effective against even the most harmful microbes. Therefore, there would not be a chance for the virus to survive this planned treatment.

Chemical Solutions of over 60% alcohol are used left on surfaces for 30 seconds to ensure they will kill viruses before being wiped off. Pure (100%) alcohol evaporates too quickly for this purpose 70% to 80% is ideal.

Hydrogen peroxide which typically comes in concentrations of about 3% is used for effective control against coronaviruses on surfaces. It is left on the surfaces for one minute before wiping to make sure that the chemical had fully acted on the virus.

With the Two-Way disinfecting system if there are 0.001% pathogens reaming from the first run of treatment, it would be definitely eliminated by the second treatment. It will make sure that all pathogens are dealt with.

Combine disinfectants may not always be the right choice because by combining disinfectants they might lose active properties by reacting with themselves. As an example if an acidic chemical is combined with sodium hypochlorite it will react and release chorine gas and form a salt which is useless against the coronavirus. It better not to combine chemicals when 100% control of COVID-19 is expected. The Two-Way System is the best cleaning and disinfecting solution to control this virus.

Why are alcohols the most effective agent against the COVID-19 Virus?

The new coronavirus gets its name due to the shape of it which resembles a crown. As all other viruses it needs a host cell to replicate and as a retrovirus it has an RNA. When a cell gets infected the coronal structure will attach to the host cell by a locking mechanism and injects the genome into the host cell where it replicates and form a large number of viral units which eventually break open the cell and comes out.

Virus particles contain the viral genome packaged in a protein coat called the capsid. For some viruses, the capsid is surrounded by lipid bilayer that contains viral proteins, usually including the proteins that enable the virus to bind to the host cells. This lipid and protein structure is called the virus envelope, and is derived from the host cell membranes. The capsid and envelope play many roles in viral infection, including virus attachment to cells, entry into cells, release of the capsid contents into the cells, and packaging of newly formed viral particles. The capsid and envelope are also responsible for transfer of the viral genetic material from one cell to another. These structures also determine the stability characteristics of the virus particle, such as resistance to chemical or physical inactivation.

What the high concentration alcohols do is that they degenerate the envelope of the virus causing lysis which leads to the death of the virus.

ULV (Ultra Low Volume) Fogging Service

Ultra-low volume application of chemicals has been defined as spraying at a Volume Application Rate. ULV spraying is a well-established spraying technique. A major benefit of ULV application is high work rate which means large areas can be treated in one day. It is a good option when rapid response is required, when there are logistical problems for supplies and when there are difficulties in reaching all areas of the site.

The Electric ULV Fogger Is used as a means of disinfecting all surfaces that are open and accessible up to two meters high from the floor in internal areas and can be extended higher upon request. The idea of using a fogger as a surface contamination control is a highly effective method of virus control and had been extensively used in the COVID 19 outbreak in countries who have successfully controlled the virus to an extent. what the fogger does is release a thin mist of disinfectant that would be evenly spread, cover and sit on all applied surfaces without missing an inch, fast, effectively with minimal liquid saturation on surfaces. The droplet size can be adjusted up to 20 micro metres which will ensure that there would not be liquid running on surfaces thus ensuring the safety of the surface in terms of physical damage and good enough to degenerate the membrane proteins of the viruses with the chemical that would be used, High concentration alcohol disinfectant is used as the ingredient of the chemical used. As the process is a cold dispensing process there is no actual temperature applied to generate the mist, there is minimal fire risk in terms of flammability of the liquid. The fogger has a better reach and takes less time than regular spray and wipe of the surface.

One of the main the aspects of virus control that needs to be understood clearly is that sit times of a product cannot be defined and if products are said to sit on surface and provide protection against a virus like COVID 19, it is totally fake and cannot be realistically achieved. The best agents against the new corona virus has been found to be high conc. alcohols and they disinfect and evaporate instantly very similar to sterilising surgical equipment or cleaning laboratory equipment to avoid contamination. Therefore, the disinfecting action is always acute and if there is continuous human transmitter access of the virus continuous controls must be implemented in order to minimise infection until the virus is controlled and eradicated or isolated. As an example a bus used for public transport should be disinfected after every trip.

Why cold storage disinfecting is of very high importance in COVID-19 control?

A lot of questions arise about what conditions the virus can withstand. Would it be a good idea to freeze or refrigerate food items as a means of getting rid of the virus? Based on what scientists know about similar viruses, the answer is no.

As the New Jersey Department of Health explains, recent research into two viruses that are closely related to the novel corona virus tend to prefer cooler temperatures and can survive much longer in the cold than you might expect. Researchers found that both lower temperatures and lower humidity helped viruses survive longer. In particular, at 4 degrees C, or 40 degrees F, and 20% relative humidity, more than two thirds of the viruses survived for 28 days. On the other end of the spectrum, at 40 degrees C, or 104 degrees F, and 80% humidity, the viruses survived for less than 6 hours.

So, high heat dramatically reduces the lifespan of the related viruses, while temperatures as low as 40 degrees Fahrenheit allowed them to persist for a month. Unfortunately, many refrigerators hover right around the 40-degree mark, making them the perfect place for such a virus to wait it out and hope it rubs off on someone it can infect. When it comes to freezing the virus, it’s believed that the coronavirus would do just fine being frozen and then thawed, retaining its ability to infect a person if it were to find its way into the eyes or respiratory system.
